Psychiatric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team at Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan. As a temporary assignment, this position offers an excellent opportunity for RNs to gain hands-on experience in psychiatric care without a long-term commitment.
Responsibilities- Complete nurse-to-nurse assessments with other healthcare facilities and communicate with Internal Medicine as needed.
- Complete internal nursing assessments.
- Assess, plan, and deliver care for patients with co-occurring disorders.
- Continually assess and reassess the patient's medical and psychiatric status and changing needs.
- Participate with other team members in planning and implementing the patient's treatment plan.
- Work with both adult and adolescent populations.
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan required.
- Previous psychiatric experience preferred.
