Job Title: Combat Engineer SpecialistAs a Combat Engineer Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of military operations. Your primary responsibility will be to design and build bridges, roadways, and defensive positions, as well as detect and safely neutralize mines and other dangers. This role requires a unique blend of engineering skills, physical stamina, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct fighting positions, fixed/floating bridges, obstacles, and defensive positions
• Place and detonate explosives
• Conduct operations that include route clearance of obstacles and rivers
Required Skills:
• Basic demolitions
• Basic explosive hazards
• Constructing wire obstacles
• Fixed bridge building
• Basic urban operations
• Operating heavy equipment
