The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team in Bloomfield, NE. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as needed.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
