We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Manager to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our national security team, you will be responsible for providing technical and programmatic Cyber Security and Information System Security Management Services to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical management resources for information system security matters, ensuring the development and implementation of information security policy, requirements, and procedures within an organization's business processes.
  • Cyber Security Services: Provide technical and programmatic Cyber Security and Information System Security Management Services to internal and external customers in support of network and information security systems.
  • Risk Management: Conduct complex vulnerability assessments, develop risk mitigation strategies, and adjudicate based on assessing the vulnerabilities, threats, and risk associated with assessments.
  • System Compliance: Review system configurations and scan tool results to determine system compliance and report results.
  • Policy Analysis: Analyze policies and procedures against Federal laws and customer regulations and provide recommendations for closing gaps.
  • Security Architecture: Develop strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements and provide cyber security and information system security support for the development and implementation of security architectures.
  • Incident Response: Provide assistance in computer incident investigations.
Qualifications
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
  • Education and Experience: BA/BS and 12+ years of experience or Masters and 10+ years of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Assessment and Authorization: Demonstrated experience with customer's Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process (e.g. RMF, NIST800-53, ICD503).
  • Cyber Security Policies: Strong understanding of Cyber Security Policies.
  • Network and IT Systems: Strong understanding of Networks and IT systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated experience working with and across teams and handling multiple projects at once.
  • Security Practices: Understanding of strong security practices and working with Security Officers.
  • Accreditation Tools: Candidate should have accreditation tool experience.
  • Professional Certifications: Candidate should have professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CASP, CISA, Security+).
