Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN - Nights

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to join our team at Epic Travel Staffing. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Job Summary:

This Labor and Delivery RN position is a 13-week assignment, working nights from 7p-7a, with a 36-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and a strong background in labor and delivery nursing. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the labor and delivery unit, including assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to promote patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
  • BLS and NRP certification.
  • STABLE and IFMC certification (can be obtained during onboarding).
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
