Salary: $20-$22/hour
Schedule: Full-Time; 30 hours a week (6 hours a day)

Position Summary: At Dworkin and Maciariello, we are committed to delivering outstanding legal services, ensuring that our clients receive the financial restitution they are entitled to. As a Bookkeeping Assistant, you will be integral to our financial operations, ensuring precise record-keeping and contributing to the fiscal health of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Incoming Payments & Deposits: Accurately handle and document all incoming payments, ensuring prompt deposits to sustain optimal cash flow.
- Prepare & Distribute Financial Documentation: Print checks and invoices with care, ensuring timely mailing to the appropriate recipients.
- Record Client Transactions Diligently: Maintain detailed records in SmartAdvocate for all checks dispatched, ensuring transparency and accountability in client case management.
- Adapt to Additional Duties: Embrace additional responsibilities as they arise, showcasing flexibility and a proactive mindset in supporting the firm’s needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop for Enterprise is preferred.
- Background in cash/check handling is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
