Maxim Healthcare Services is actively seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RN) to take on the responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the provision of patient care. The Registered Nurses (RN) will demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Evaluate signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare team members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Document the patient's care plan using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Execute interventions according to established priorities, care plans, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
  • Revise the care plan based on evaluations, changes in the medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
  • Employ clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet the patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities.
  • Perform other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Current Nurse License for the state of practice.
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One year of prior Licensed Nurse experience is preferred.
Essential Skills:
  • Adult care
  • Gastrostomy Tube management
  • Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy
  • Mechanical Ventilator operation
  • Cough assistance techniques
Work Schedule:
  • Saturday through Tuesday Nights
  • 7 PM - 7 AM
  • Full-time position
