The Production Technician B plays a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing line through precise unit alignment, assembly, and testing processes.

• Make fine adjustments while simultaneously monitoring computer outputs to assess unit performance.

• Operate advanced active alignment stations and specialized tooling.

• Proficiently use, read, and interpret oscilloscopes and other measurement instruments.

• Possess a working knowledge of electronic, optical, and mechanical assembly processes.

• Conduct basic computer operations with provided software.

• Identify and perform preventive maintenance on tools and testing equipment as necessary.

• Demonstrate understanding of engineering schematics and prints.

• Report any deviations from established standards to the appropriate personnel for review and guidance, ensuring quality inspections are conducted when necessary.

• Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives through ongoing process enhancements.

• Apply mathematical skills to perform calculations in various units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes effective teamwork across functions.

• Engage in various meetings and committees to integrate activities, communicate challenges, obtain approvals, resolve issues, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new developments and policies.

Required Qualifications:


• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/Associate's Degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience.

Preferred Skills:


• Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word); familiarity with LabView is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to operate 25%-50% of workstations as verified by training documentation.
