Job Summary

A skilled Water Well Driller is sought after by Brase Drilling to drill water wells, install water well pumps and motors, and operate equipment as needed for the project. This individual will work outdoors in all weather conditions and must be physically fit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drill water wells in various soil types and weather conditions.
  • Install water well pumps and motors, including basic electrical work.
  • Operate water well drilling equipment and other necessary equipment for the project.
  • Monitor equipment performance and document results.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
  • Complete all required paperwork and daily reports in a timely manner.
  • Supervise a crew, ensure safety, stay within budget, and meet project deadlines.
  • Act as the single point of contact for crews, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver License.
  • CDL (or ability to obtain) with CDL A preferred and CDL B minimum.
  • ND Water Well Driller's License (or ability to obtain).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5-10 years' experience in the Water Well Drilling industry is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely and 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • Willingness to relocate to North Dakota and complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Work Environment
  • Outdoor and in-shop work with occasional extreme temperatures.
  • PPE provided, including gloves, shirts, and safety glasses.
  • Mostly Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekends and 40-60 hours per week.
  • Some out-of-town travel required with per diem and hotel provided.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $35-$42 per hour plus overtime, depending on experience.
  • Quarterly Performance Bonus based on productivity and profitability.
  • 3% employer match Retirement Plan (Simple IRA).
  • Medical Insurance (50% employer-paid) and Dental Insurance.
  • Supplemental Insurance (Aflac) and PTO (10 days accrue during the first year).
