We are seeking a skilled Nursing Unit Assistant to join our team at Sandy River Center in Farmington, ME. As a Nursing Unit Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report changes in patients' condition, patient/family concerns or complaints to the charge nurse and/or supervisor.
  • Make unoccupied patient beds and ensure patients are ready for scheduled rehabilitation therapy.
  • Assist with the dining program and manage patient personal belongings.
  • Provide support to patients and families, promoting a culture of care and compassion.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to ensure patient safety and wellbeing.
