Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care setting and possess strong clinical skills, including the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips. You will also be responsible for titrating vasoactive drips and managing patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the CVICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips, including titrating vasoactive drips as needed.
- Manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those with renal failure, traumatic brain injury, and ortho trauma.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care setting.
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips.
- Ability to titrate vasoactive drips and manage patients with complex medical conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Floating to other departments as needed to cover facility requirements is also a requirement of this position.
Please note that full compliance with Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center's policies and procedures is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the start date will be pushed back by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
