Underwriting Auditor

The Underwriting Auditor will be responsible for conducting post-bind reviews of commercial property and casualty accounts to ensure compliance with company guidelines and underwriting authority. This role will involve collaborating with risk quality assessment teams, compiling and documenting results, and communicating audit findings to underwriters, underwriting managers, and product managers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed and documented reviews of new business accounts to validate account eligibility and underwriting authority
• Collaborate with risk quality assessment teams to compile and document post-bind results
• Communicate audit findings to underwriters, underwriting managers, and product managers
• Proactively engage with business managers to discuss audits and maintain relationships
• Stay up-to-date with the latest underwriting guidelines and authorities to determine acceptability of risk
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 years of multi-line underwriting experience in systems like AmTrust rating engines, with experience in WC and CPP
• Detail-oriented with skills in advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ISO class tables, PAAS lookup, and application to decision-making
• Knowledge of both WC & ISO coverages and forms
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
