Job Summary

The Electrical Supervisor will oversee and manage all electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems and functions, ensuring cost-effective support to maximize efficient mill operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, health, and environmental protection, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Greif's accounting policies and financial control procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis and devise corrective action plans to solve problems.
  • Oversee the mill electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation functions.
  • Develop and implement effective E&I department safety and housekeeping programs.
  • Collaborate with other key leaders to ensure effective mill-wide safety and housekeeping programs.
  • Plan and execute electrical services for new installations or revisions of existing equipment and systems.
  • Supervise maintenance of electrical and instrumentation files and/or logs.
  • Identify and analyze potential problems, equipment failures, and negative trends in equipment performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or 3 years of experience supervising electrical maintenance persons in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve process and equipment issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
