Job Summary
We are seeking a Corporate Counsel with 3+ years of experience to join our growing legal team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in negotiating transactions for the company. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the enterprise software industry and be able to effectively engage with various stakeholders, including Legal, Information Security, Sales, and Finance teams, as well as external partners and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate complex SaaS and software agreements, focusing on information security and privacy aspects for enterprise and midmarket customers primarily in financial services and the public sector.
* Collaborate with the partner team to negotiate Partner Agreements and provide support.
* Develop and implement vendor agreements for products and services supporting the business.
* Work closely with sales, customer success, professional services, finance, and other departments to ensure relevant terms are understood and applied appropriately.
* Escalate matters as needed while maintaining open communication with internal stakeholders.
* Interact regularly with the sales team and executive team to facilitate transactions.
* Enhance transaction efficiency through effective collaboration and communication with internal and external parties.

Requirements
* JD from an ABA-accredited program and active bar membership in any state or regional equivalent.
* 3+ years of experience in negotiating and managing complex technology transactions, preferably for entities in highly regulated industries, with public sector experience being advantageous.
* Proven track record of representing or negotiating with Fortune 500 companies, with experience working in both law firms and in-house legal departments.
* Strong interest in negotiation strategy and deal design, with proficiency in interest-based negotiation techniques.
* Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proactive and team-oriented approach, with a focus on building positive relationships and providing exceptional service.
