Position Overview

The Lead Respiratory Care Specialist provides high-level clinical knowledge, training, and guidance on Respiratory Care practices for patients across all age demographics, adhering to established protocols and standards of care. This role actively seeks to enhance and advocate for improvements in patient care quality through clinical expertise, program innovation, and exemplary role modeling.

In addition, this position involves participating in the recruitment, onboarding, oversight, and performance assessment of team members, while also managing disciplinary actions in line with organizational guidelines.

Qualifications Required:

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider PALS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.

The salary range provided is the base pay; additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, and bonus opportunities.
