Job Summary
WestRock is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team in Greenville, TX. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial printing equipment, as well as building maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC 3 phase motors, motor controls, and conveyor applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial printing equipment and building systems.
- Work with a manufacturing maintenance team to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including AC/DC motors and PLC controls.
- Experience with 480 VAC, 3 phase, and lower voltages.
- Ability to read and interpret facility blueprints and equipment technical manuals.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively work within a team environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in machining and electrical component repair.
- Training/certification in machine-specific and electronics fields.
- Ability to properly use rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Working knowledge of AC/DC motors and basic electric and mechanical safety.
- Basic computer experience and knowledge of safe use of hand and small power tools.
- Ability to work on-call as needed and maintain good attendance.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, with significant overtime possible during busy periods.
