Laborer Position

We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our team at Rinker Materials in Marianna, FL. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the production of reinforced concrete products, working closely with our team to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Mixing and pouring concrete to precise specifications.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors, to optimize production efficiency.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds to ensure accurate and timely production.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies to support production needs.
• Setting up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products to ensure accurate and precise results.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials with care and attention to detail.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.

About You:

We require:

• The ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools to perform tasks efficiently.
• The ability to work outdoors or in open air environments, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on concrete production.
• Preferred experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift, to optimize production efficiency.
• The ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently, with assistance from a forklift or crane for heavier loads.
• The ability to push or pull carts with 80 pounds of force, with attention to safety and ergonomics.
• The ability to climb stairs and ladders, with a focus on safety and accessibility.
