The Junior Software Engineer will focus on acquiring the skills necessary to analyze, design, and develop solutions that enhance the efficiency of our high-volume transaction applications.
A strong curiosity about logistics, combined with technical proficiency and a customer service mindset, is vital for success in this role.
This position is on-site and located in the greater Seattle, WA area. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate, as relocation assistance is not provided.

Minimum Requirements:
- Proficient in at least one Object-Oriented programming language
- Strong skills in object-oriented design and development
- Knowledge of Java concepts, including web services and database connectivity
- Experience with object-relational mapping frameworks such as Hibernate
- Ability to write SQL statements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Basic familiarity with Unix or Linux systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing user interfaces using JavaScript and other frameworks
- Familiarity with Spring, Kafka, and Event-Driven Architecture
- Understanding of XML and Microservices
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related experience
- Experience with development tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ, Git, Maven, and Nexus
- Knowledge of the transportation and global logistics sector

Additional Information:Expected Salary: $85,000 to $120,000
