Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Python Developer to join our team at System One. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing Python applications, working with our clients to understand their needs, and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop Python applications using Python Shell and PySpark
- Develop and maintain Glue jobs using Python Shell and PySpark
- Work with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions
- Collaborate with our team to ensure timely and successful project delivery

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Python development
- Experience with designing Glue jobs using Python Shell and PySpark
- Strong understanding of Python applications design, code structure, packaging, and deployments
- Ability to write unit tests and use various mocking techniques
- Functional knowledge of Docker

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with ETL data processing
- Experience with writing AWS Lambda functions
- Experience with SNS/SQL implementation techniques, event triggering (e.g., EventBridge) and Step Functions
- Experience with infrastructure building using AWS CDK
