We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Health Advocates Network in Belleville, IL.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and perform various nursing tasks as required.
Responsibilities:- Med Pass: Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Health Assessments: Conduct thorough health assessments to identify patient needs and develop care plans.
- Sick Calls: Respond to patient requests for medical attention and provide necessary care.
- Provides general nursing care to patients, including taking vital signs and observing patient conditions.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
- Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- A valid and current LPN license issued within the US.
- A valid and current CPR card.
- Experience in ER, Psychiatric, MS, or Clinic settings.
- Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a total travel stipend and a blended rate that feels like $48.78 per hour.
Shift Details:
- LPN night shift is 6p-630a, 3 shifts a week to include every other weekend.
