Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs, working closely with physicians and nursing personnel.
- Collect and assemble data for database, outcome analysis, and performance improvement.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes to the Cath Lab when on call.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.
- Two years of current experience in Cath lab may be substituted for completion of Radiology Technologist program or invasive cardiovascular technologist (CVT) program completion.
- Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date and maintained.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
- Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RT licensure preferred.
