Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As a functional rehabilitation specialist, you will work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that enhance their functional independence and improve their overall quality of life.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to promote functional recovery. You will work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to address deficits and improve function
  • Implement interventions such as occupational therapy activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment to promote functional recovery
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve treatment goals and promote patient-centered care
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
  • Experience working with adult populations, preferably in an outpatient setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
