Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sheraton Bucks County Hotel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel systems, equipment, and physical features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to our guests and operations.
  • Determine defects and troubleshoot malfunctions to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the integrity and functionality of our systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to complete service, replacement, alteration, and new installation work.
  • Assist in training new team members on equipment and daily hotel operations.
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Efficiently maintain pools, filters, and pumps to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adjust televisions and program Spectra dyne boxes to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Paint, stain, or repair interior and exterior finishes to maintain a high level of aesthetic appeal.
  • Change light bulbs and ballasts as soon as reported or noticed to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Record daily, weekly, and monthly temperature and pressure readings to monitor system performance.
  • Install and repair carpets to ensure safety and comfort for our guests.
  • Be familiar with and maintain all fire safety equipment operations and implement emergency procedures when required.
  • Respond to any HVAC calls or room calls as a priority to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Produce accurate logs, charts, and preventive maintenance forms to track system performance and maintenance activities.
