About the Role

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adult, adolescent, and child patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Charge Nurse to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide milieu therapy to assigned patients, including individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Assess and evaluate patient mental status, and initiate and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients.
  • Collaborate with other unit staff to determine whether a patient represents a risk to themselves and/or others.
  • Provide supportive care to patients, including participating in conversation, recreational activities, and basic living activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
  • BLS required.
