Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Staff Management: Collaborate with the director to recruit, select, orient, and train nursing personnel, ensuring a skilled and competent team.
- Administrative Oversight: Oversee the completion of necessary administrative reporting activities, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Competency Assurance: Ensure that nursing staff maintain current competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and complete annual training requirements.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care as needed, while also being responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patient needs.
- Goal Achievement: Utilize experience and judgment to set and accomplish departmental goals effectively.
