Job Overview

Job Description

This role involves creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere that supports student growth and achievement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Lesson Plans: Create age-appropriate lesson plans that meet the needs of Pre-K students and align with state standards.
  • Create a Positive Classroom Environment: Establish a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assess and Evaluate Student Performance: Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues and Parents: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff to support student development and address any concerns.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
  • Adapt Teaching Methods: Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field: Possess a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Valid Minnesota Educator License: Hold a valid Minnesota educator license.
  • EC/Pre-K Endorsement: Possess an EC/Pre-K endorsement.
