Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Professional - Patient Care Coordinator.

Job Summary

This position involves taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing various nursing tasks to ensure optimal patient care. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking patients' temperatures, blood pressures, and other vital statistics
  • Administering medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Providing basic patient care tasks, such as changing bandages and inserting catheters
  • Observing patients for changes in health, mood, and behavior, and reporting concerns to RN Unit Managers or physicians
  • Preparing patients for procedures, describing ordered treatments, and listening to concerns or grievances
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing, meeting all applicable Federal and State licensure requirements
  • Basic nursing competency skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records and documentation
  • Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also provide benefits, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield Health Insurance (low cost), Dental Insurance, 401k/matched, PTO, Paid Holidays, and an attractive employee referral bonus plan.
