Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will work closely with our pharmacists to assist with prescription filling, patient counseling, and other pharmacy-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
• Verify medication accuracy and check for potential interactions
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Develop strong relationships with patients and customers, ensuring a positive experience
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic math skills and accuracy with counting, measuring, and weighing medications
• Good computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems
