Civil Designer Job Description
We seek a skilled Civil Designer for our Site Design team. As a Civil Designer, you will play a crucial role in recommending design techniques and minor design changes to ensure the best approach to solve engineering and design needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed design work on projects, including preparation of drawings and layouts, reviewing project specifications, and performing design calculations.
  • Research various design concepts and techniques to enhance project design work.
  • Perform complex computer-aided design assignments and ensure designs align with project objectives and quality standards.
  • Review drawings, prepare project cost estimates, and attend client meetings as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing environmental impacts or other project studies as required.
  • SUPERVISE, COORDINATE, AND REVIEW WORK FOR LESS EXPERIENCED STAFF MEMBERS AS NEEDED.

You bring to the team:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • An Associate Degree in Drafting preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of CAD software experience, specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Solid interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to generate effective solutions to complex problems.
  • An understanding of high-level engineering design capabilities and advanced knowledge of applicable technologies.
