Role Purpose:

The Image Specialist at Valnet Concept will lead the development and selection of visual materials, including graphics and photo enhancements, to enrich our travel-centric articles. This position demands a combination of graphic design expertise, creative insight, and a love for exploration, ensuring that all visual components are attractive, informative, and consistent with our brand ethos.

Primary Duties:

  • Create unique graphics and illustrations to accompany various articles and digital content, ensuring they are captivating and relevant to the travel sector.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and implement visual storytelling concepts that enhance the written narrative.
  • Refine and improve photographs to fulfill editorial requirements, utilizing advanced editing techniques to enhance composition, lighting, and overall aesthetics.
  • Establish and uphold style guidelines and templates for visual content, ensuring that brand standards are easily applied by all team members.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design with a robust portfolio that highlights visual content creation for digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Strong grasp of branding, layout, color theory, and typography in the context of digital media.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Capability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic work environment.
  • A genuine passion for travel and an understanding of the visual communication needs specific to the industry.
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline is preferred.
