About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team at Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and telehandlers, to move materials and supplies within the warehouse.
  • Conduct cycle counts, stage, sort, and report damages to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers, and transport them to local yards using company vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to complete tasks and achieve goals.
  • Act as a spotter in the yard with equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and good communication skills.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment in a warehouse or construction setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong safety focus, punctuality, teamwork, respect, and motivation.
Physical Demands
  • Repetitive lifting and carrying of items up to 70 pounds.
  • Standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Working in various weather conditions, including heat and inclement weather.
  • Comfortable moving materials with heavy equipment that are long and awkwardly shaped.
