Radiology Technologist for Travel Assignments

Certification Requirements
  • Verification of unit description to confirm certifications is essential.
  • AHA Provider Certification (Instructor card is now acceptable); RQI is acceptable.
  • Certifications such as PALS, ACLS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, and EFM may be necessary.
  • National Tech Certification Verification is required.
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgment is mandatory.
Position Overview
  • Available position in Radiology / Cardiology.
  • Day Shift for Radiology Technician.
  • Work schedule: 4x10s, Tuesday to Friday.
  • First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have experience with c-arm port usage.
  • Environment focuses on Surgical and Clinical Orthopedics, emphasizing General Ortho Imaging (x-ray) and specialized care for Limb Lengthening and Bone Deformity Correction.
  • Frequent long-leg imaging (hip to ankle) is conducted in the clinics.
  • Equipment utilized includes DR GE (both rooms and portable), EOS, Standing Foot/Ankle CT scanner, and CR.
Job Qualifications
  • MD license is a requirement.
  • Essential skills include Outpatient, Inpatient, Community Hospital, and Children's Hospital experience.
  • Preferred skills encompass OR, ER, and Level I Trauma experience.
  • General skills experience required: PACS and Portables.
  • No new graduates will be considered.
  • BLS and AART certification are required.
  • The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with confidence and experience in operating the c-arm and portable x-ray machine.
Work Schedule
  • No weekend or major holiday shifts.
  • Flexibility to work at offsite locations as necessary.
