The Role
As a Critical Care Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and reassessing patients' health care needs, taking into account their age group and condition.
- Determining nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, involving patients, families, and other healthcare providers as necessary.
- Providing nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs, guided by current evidence-based practice, regulations, and policy.
- Evaluating patient outcomes by utilizing critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts, and reach sound conclusions.
- Evaluating discharge needs related to the plan of care, utilizing resources as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Previous experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
- A current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Additionally, you can enjoy shift differentials of $2.50 per hour for evenings, $3.00 per hour for overnights, and $3.00 per hour for weekends.
