Job Overview

The Electrical Systems Compliance Specialist plays a key role in communicating, developing, and executing design content relevant to clients' objectives. This position supports daily activities in process developments, validation, and change management. In this role, you will utilize your experience and expertise in Electrical Technology to solve problems in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hands-on testing of LV Switchboards, Switchgear's, Busway Upto 6000Amp, and Transfer switches as per compliance needs.
  • Analyze and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, including complex automated system drawings.
  • Implement engineering changes to resolve problems by analyzing change orders and system updates.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality teams on qualification processes for assembly integration to production systems.
  • Record procedures, results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for product or method changes.
  • Maintain software, documentation, and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
  • Ensure system compliance with budgets, standards, and regulations.
  • Review product designs with engineers to ensure Design for Compliance.
  • Oversee product verification and characterization.
  • Provide inputs for regulatory certification, standards compliance, product performance verification, and reliability testing.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, combined with some experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 6 years of related experience.
  • Previous experience with UL standards: 891 Switchboards, 1558 Switchgears, 857 Busways, 1008 Transfer Switch.
