Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions. This includes medication management, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy interventions in inpatient and outpatient settings, including the Emergency Department at VALLHS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnoses of patients with mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy interventions
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency care as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry and mental health, with excellent clinical and communication skills. A valid medical license and board certification in psychiatry are required.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time contract position with a 1-year term, with potential for extension. Travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
