About the Role:The Medication Assistant will assist with the administration of medications under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This role requires a strong understanding of medication administration and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, and toileting.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Perform routine nursing duties, such as checking vital signs and monitoring resident conditions.
- Document care provided and report any changes or concerns to licensed nursing staff.
- Assist with transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
- Successful completion of a State-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
- Registration with the State registry required.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
