Job Summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing exceptional healthcare services to students. As an LPN, you will be responsible for delivering preventative and emergency health services, as well as wellness education to students. You will evaluate, determine, and recommend appropriate medical, mental health, and dental services for the student population, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all HIPAA laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures, ensuring no manipulation of student data.
  • Assist the Wellness Director in coordinating and providing medical, mental, and dental services for students.
  • Comply with local and federal guidelines for the administration of all medications and maintenance of medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and the maintenance of medical records.
  • May assist in conducting cursory medical examinations for students, as allowed by state practice law.
  • Perform first aid treatment, bedside patient care, and other wellness services as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment within Wellness Services.
  • Produce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standards.
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
  • Understand and apply job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities, proactively maintaining the skills required to perform job duties.
  • Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
  • Show respect and courtesy to students and hold them accountable for their actions and behavior.
  • Provide quality programs and services for students, ensuring that quality is maintained and student needs are met. Pursue improvement and enhancement of programs and services.
  • Exchange ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner, and contribute meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Provide quality and timely information to DOL/Company when requested.
  • Effectively articulate thoughts and ideas, identifying problems, analyzing causes, and evaluating appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions. Follow up to ensure prompt/appropriate action is taken and that problems are in fact corrected.
  • Work in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
  • Accept direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager, including assignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments and positions.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. LPN Certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN required. A minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred. Regional Approval required.
