Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process member purchases by operating a cash register and related hardware.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking and rotating merchandise and supplies.
  • Monitor and resolve problems in the prescription fulfillment process.
  • Provide patient/member service in the Pharmacy area.
  • Enter prescription data into pharmacy software.
  • Fills prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders and counting, pouring, measuring or weighing medication tablets, liquids, and creams.

Requirements:

  • Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.

Additional Compensation:

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
