Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including power distribution equipment and programmable logic control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors and motor controls.
  • Design and implement electrical systems for construction projects, including ordering necessary parts and installing electrical equipment and controls.
  • Test and calibrate electrical equipment and measuring systems.
  • Perform welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, plumbing, and motor alignment as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent in General Education.
  • Electrician License.
  • 2 years of experience in performing industrial-related electrical and/or instrumentation repair and maintenance responsibilities.
  • Proficient written, verbal communication, and listening skills.
  • Knowledge of contactors and starters, motors and motor controls, AC/DC motor controls, high voltage splicing, transformers, motor bearings, and shaft alignment.
Work Environment:

The work environment for this position will be in a shop environment as well as outdoor exposure throughout the plant. The employee will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines. The employee must be able to work well in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
