Zantech is seeking a skilled QA Tester to assist our Army Client in an Application Development and Maintenance Program. This IT team adheres to a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and manages applications that undergo 2-3 releases annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures under general supervision to ensure that all information systems products and services comply with minimum organizational standards and meet end-user needs.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Execute regression tests, smoke tests, and comprehensive software testing to guarantee proper functionality and defect-free operation.
- Document issues and collaborate to resolve all problems.
- Utilize tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms to log test results for the release's work items.
- Communicate progress on problem resolution to management.
- Propose enhancements to existing procedures and conduct workflow analysis to recommend quality improvements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience
- OR Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience. - Proven experience in IT Application Development.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Active DOD Secret clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret/Secret SSBI.
