Key Responsibilities- Support Clinic Providers: Collaborate with our clinic providers, marketing, and human resources teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient care.
- Nursing Services: Provide nursing services to residents and team members, including vital sign checks, medication management, and wound care.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the emergency nurse for our community during clinic hours, responding to emergencies and sharing reports with the resident review team.
- Administrative Tasks: Authorize medication refills, schedule specialist appointments, and conduct marketing and final clearance interviews.
- Specialized Services: Perform EKGs, bladder scans, blood sugar checks, and COVID-19/flu tests, as well as administer Prolia and conduct pre-employment drug screenings.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in annual influenza vaccine clinics, assist with workman's comp referrals, and attend community or team meetings to represent the clinic.
- Current LPN License: Hold a current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of VA (or compact license).
- Experience: Possess at least 1 year of experience in an outpatient clinic or physician's office.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and telephone etiquette skills, as well as customer service experience.
- Elderly Population: Show a desire and willingness to work with the elderly population.
- Electronic Health Record: Have experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
