Youth Advocate

Join our team as a Youth Advocate and make a positive impact in the lives of youth and families in Sanilac County.

We are seeking a reliable and committed individual to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings. As a Youth Advocate, you will be responsible for initiating, organizing, planning, developing, and implementing direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.

• Provide direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families, including developing and implementing service plans based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.
• Work collaboratively with community resources to provide support and services to youth and families.
• Provide flexible and reliable transportation to serve youth and families in the community.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources preferred.
• Bi-lingual/Spanish is preferred but not required.

• Competitive hourly rate of $16.00.
• Flexible hours and mileage reimbursement.
• Activity reimbursement and benefits package including voluntary dental, vision, and UNUM supplemental insurance.
