Library Director

The Bartow County Public Library seeks a visionary leader to oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of its library system. As the Library Director, you will be responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating the various operations of the library system, ensuring that it remains a vibrant and essential part of the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance library services and programs, aligning with the needs and goals of the community.
• Supervise and manage library personnel, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• At least 8 years of library experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or administrative role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire staff, build partnerships, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
