Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Pharmacy Technician Adjunct Instructor to join our team at Aiken Technical College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching pharmacy technician courses, developing curriculum, and providing academic support to students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach pharmacy technician courses, including hands-on and theoretical instruction, classroom management, and administrative tasks.
  • Develop and maintain current course syllabi, ensuring that courses are taught in accordance with established syllabi.
  • Recommend adequate instructional materials and laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned courses.
  • Supervise students and provide academic support as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree required.
  • Graduation from an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited program and certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Three years of experience in the type of pharmacy setting for which they are training students.
  • Ability to travel to various clinical agencies within the CSRA.
