Clinical Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients and athletes, while also contributing to the growth and development of our sports medicine program.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or illnesses, using evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct screenings, presentations, and in-services for area coaches, athletes, and parents, promoting injury prevention and education.
- Assist in the coverage of local races, sports physicals, and sporting events, helping to expand our program's brand and reach.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to departmental and regulatory guidelines.
- Graduate of a CAATE-approved Athletic Training Program.
- Current certification as an Athletic Trainer, issued by the National Board of Certification (BOC).
- CPR Healthcare/BLS certification.
- Valid current driver's license.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Pennsylvania (PA) licensed as an Athletic Trainer.
- One (1) year of experience in a traditional setting.
- Clinical experience in an outpatient office.
