About the Role

Goodwill Industries of Akron is seeking an entry-level Donation Trailer Attendant / Customer Service Representative / Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission of serving the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accept, load, unload, and sort donations at 5 donation trailer sites in Summit County.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, offering a coupon, receipt, and smile.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of donations.
  • Operate equipment with attention to safe operating procedures.
  • Help promote the development of service participants.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load donations for clothing, furniture, and other household goods.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
