Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Client Support Specialist to join our team at Resources for Human Development. In this role, you will be responsible for providing community-based services to individuals in need, focusing on education, connection with resources, and achievement of recovery plan goals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field, with at least two years of experience providing support to individuals in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or IDD services. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and values-based services, developing and maintaining relationships with community agencies to assist program participants in connecting with available resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide services from a holistic and values-based perspective.
  • Assist in the development of recovery plans and reviews in collaboration with the program participant, clinical and medical staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies to assist program participants in connecting with all available resources.
  • Provide community-based services to program participants, focusing on education, connection with resources, community interaction, and achievement of recovery plan goals.
  • Complete all assessments and documentation as required by RHD, funder, licensing, and accreditation entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience providing support to individuals in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or IDD services.
  • Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing or sitting for long periods. You will be working in the community within the service delivery area of the program, required to drive program participants to appointments.

What We Offer
