Job Summary

The Front Office Representative II plays a vital role in maximizing front office efficiency and ensuring a positive patient experience. This position works closely with the Office Manager and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve problems, maintain relationships with patients and staff, and perform various procedures associated with routine patient encounters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize front office efficiency and perform various procedures associated with routine patient encounters
  • Work closely with Office Manager and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Maintain positive relationships with patients, family members, visitors, and fellow employees
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Assist with patient scheduling, registration, and billing
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of computer practice management systems and other computerized systems (Microsoft Office programs, electronic health record systems)
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 CM and CPT coding systems
  • Good organizational skills and ability to identify and solve problems
  • Good communication skills, bilingual helpful
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years front office and medical billing experience in a lead position
