Key Responsibilities- Support equipment maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct failure analysis and lead level 1 and level 2 investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Resolve day-to-day issues with mechanical equipment and oil/coolant filtration systems.
- Support reliability excellence activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Coordinate work during outages and assist crew leaders to ensure seamless execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment failures and operational issues.
- Provide direction and training to maintenance craft, supervisors, and contractors for maintenance activities during scheduled outages and breakdown situations.
- Coordinate outside resources, such as engineers, service technicians, vendors, designers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Develop, plan, schedule, and implement improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability.
- Assist the planner in developing and modifying maintenance job packages.
- Participate in and execute other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology, or Associate degree in Mechanical Technology with a minimum of one year of experience, or High School Graduate or Equivalent with at least five years of maintenance/technical experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work with and lead craft and salaried personnel.
