Mold Setter

We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join our team at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company). As a Mold Setter, you will be responsible for operating injection molding machines to produce parts used in the manufacture of medical devices.

• Operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts
• Prepare materials required for production
• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues on equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and documentation of findings
• Assist with setup of new equipment and processes
• Provide support to other departments as needed
• Work with team members to improve processes and reduce scrap
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Injection Molding experience preferred but not required
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of plastic injection molding
• Good communication skills
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
• Ability to read drawings and specifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
